Trivia with Friends is a turn based, direct Peer to Peer (P2P), generative AI trivia game (and much much more). Enter your opponent's email address (or any screen name you agree upon). If you wish, you can choose to play Solo. You can ask the AI for any topic in the world. You can even ask for questions in any language! Three different levels of difficulty. The app will generate the questions, handle the scoring, and everything else. It is an amazing game with a rich feature set. Hit "Start New Challenge" on the app's Dashboard to begin. Enjoy.

User Guide: Trivia with Friends ---(Version 1.8)Welcome to Trivia with Friends, a turn-based direct Peer to Peer (P2P) trivia challenge designed to test your knowledge against your friends (or just play Solo) using custom-generated AI questions.

1. Getting Started
• Login: When you first open the app, you will be prompted to enter your email address (or any screen name you like).
• Identity: Your email (screen name) is used to identify your active games and scores. Always use the same email (or screen name) to ensure your progress is saved across sessions.
• Dashboard: Once logged in, your dashboard displays three main categories: Your Turn, Waiting for Friend, and Completed Games.
2. Starting a New Challenge
1. Click the "Start New Challenge" button on your dashboard.
2. Opponent's Email: Enter the exact email address (or screen name) of the friend you want to challenge. Simply enter "None" if you want to play Solo.
3. Topic: Type in any topic you can imagine (e.g., "Science Fiction" or "World Capitals").
4. Difficulty: Choose between Easy, Medium, or Hard.
5. Generation: Our AI will generate 10 unique, niche questions specifically for that topic. You can select the language that the questions and answers are displayed in. You can hear the questions and answers spoken in your selected language.
3. The Group Challenge Feature
When creating a challenge, you can tag your game with a specific Group Name (e.g., "Group 1").
• Purpose: This categorizes your match within the app's internal database.
• Organization: Tagging games by Group allows organizations or friend circles to keep their specific matches sorted and separate from general 1-on-1 play.4. The separate Webpage Dashboard.
Our website features a dedicated Dashboard that provides real-time community insights. This is separate from your active in-game list and acts as a central hub for the following:
• Live Data Stream: A live feed of recent match activity within your designated Group. This shows game statuses, topics, and progress updates as they happen.
• Group Member Rankings (Leaderboard): A competitive ranking system based on performance.
o W/G (Win/Game): Tracks your total wins against total games played.
o Ratio: Your win percentage, color-coded for performance (Green for 50%+, Red for below 50%).
o Filtering: The leaderboard automatically ignores other Game IDs and only ranks active players with valid Group 1 identities.
5. How to Play
• Taking Your Turn: In the "Your Turn" section, click PLAY on any active game.
• The Questions: You will face 10 multiple-choice questions.
• Scoring & Timing: Each correct answer adds to your score. The game also tracks response time for tie-breaking.
• Turn-Based Flow: Once you finish, the game moves to the "Waiting" section. If a friend challenges you, it appears in your "Your Turn" list. If you choose to play Solo, your completed game moves to the "Completed Games" section.
6. Reviewing, Rematch, and Cloning Games
• Review Results: Click REVIEW in "Completed Games" to see questions, correct answers, and your choices.
• Rematch: Send a new set of questions to the same friend immediately.
• Clone a Game: Send the exact same set of questions to a different friend to see if they can beat your previous score.
7. Management and Resigning
• Resigning: You can click RESIGN at any time from the dashboard to end a challenge.
• Syncing: The app refreshes every 7 seconds to check for completed turns.

Tip for Success: You can ask any question. For example, "History". Or "WW1 History". Or "Science Fiction, with the questions/answers in French or Chinese". The AI is programmed to avoid obvious facts and focus on niche, lesser-known details to keep the game challenging for all players!
